Get to know me

Karyn Raman was born and lives in Philadelphia. She holds a master's degree in education and has been working in special education for more than twenty years.

Karyn draws inspiration from meditative practice which has guided her art. She believes that art is more than a vehicle for personal expression but also a connection to something larger than oneself. Karyn sees her art as channeled from a greater consciousness.

Karyn has recently started exhibiting paintings and clay sculptures in various local gallery shows such as: Philly Fringe Festival benefit for WOAR September 2019, AMP Productions Tattoo shop and Gallery benefit for ASPCA October 2019, Eilandarts Center Group Show October 2019, Artists Against Children In Cages benefit, and Mt.
